Eastern region of India has fascinating mountains, exciting valleys, aromatic tea gardens to ebullient landscapes. It is famous for its rich tribal culture and thrilling wildlife. Eastern India comprises of Assam. Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim as well West Bengal, Odisha (Orissa) Bihar and Jharkhand.

Assam is surrounded by beautiful mountains, blue rivers, tea gardens, temples and Brahmaputra River.

Nagaland:

Meghalaya is famous for scenic beauty, exclusive flora and fauna and tribal folks. Tour to Meghalaya is full of adventure and thrill. Shillong is its capital and is the smallest state in India.

Tripura:

Mizoram is the southernmost tip of eastern India, a land of blue knolls. Aizawl is its capital. It has popular hill stations, lush green valleys. Rihdil, Tamdil, Vantawang, Champhai, Seriha, Lunglai are the most famous locations in Mizoram.

Arunachal Pradesh is the serene land in the mountains. Tawang is the town famous for Buddhist monastery. Whitewater rafting and trekking are major activities. Itanagar is capital of Arunachal Pradesh and is situated at foot hills of the Himalayas..Attractions here include gorgeous places, such as Ujjayanta Palace, Kunjaban Palace and various important Hindu and Buddhists temples.

Small but beautiful. Sikkim is situated in the eastern Himalayas. Spread below the  Mount Kanchenjunga (8534 meters), the third highest mountain in the world, and revered by the Sikkimese as their protective deity.  Darjeeling is popularly known as the "Queen of the Hills" and produces the famous Darjeeling Tea, one of the world's finest teas. Gangtok is its capital. Tsomgo Lake, Pemayanste monastery, Kabi logstop are places not to be missed.
